If you have an eBook (KDP) or a paperback book published on Amazon, you can transfer the ISBN and ownership to TAIH by doing the following items.

For KDP Books, begin by logging into your KDP account on Amazon. Then go to this page: https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/contact-us

On this page, you will see information on what to do to transfer your files to Texas Authors Institute of History. TAIH email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Here is an example of transferring files:

After entering the information in the text box, you will be asked to upload a file. This only applies if you have 12 or more books in your account to transfer to TAIH. Less than 12 can be typed into the text box above.

Click on Send Email and you will receive a message as follows:

Thank you! We've received your message. You should expect a response within 24 hours. In some cases our reply may take longer as we research your inquiry.

Amazon will then verify with you that this is legit and once approved, your book titles will be transferred over to TAIH.

Both parties will receive a notice that the transfer is complete. TAIH will follow up with you at that time.
