Drew Paige is a wife, mother, grandmother, rancher, veteran and last but not least, a nurse. She currently resides with her husband in the home built by her parents in a small town in central Texas. Life on the ranch includes two dogs, several cats, horses, cows and a rooster or two.
After serving four years active-duty in the United States Air Force as an Electrical Systems Specialist, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Hardin Simmons University in 1992, while serving in the Air Force Reserves. Her Air Force career allowed her to travel to several foreign countries. Stationed in England during her active duty, she was able to travel to Scotland, Germany, France, Belgium, and one NATO exercise in Sicily. As a Reservist, she added Guam to her list of travels.
During her nursing career, she has worked in oncology, home health and in the surgery area, working both in pre-op and recovery over twenty years. The wonderful world of nursing has allowed her to not only raise her family but also add a few more countries to her list of travels. In 2014, she traveled to Israel, and two years later, found herself on a wonderful trip to Sweden to visit friends. Multiple cruises to the Caribbean with her husband can be listed among her travels, as well.
Although visiting beautiful places around the world is one of her loves, nothing compares to spending time with family and grandchildren. She enjoys horseback riding, bicycle riding, and any outdoor activity around the ranch.
Publishing her father's works has been a dream, and so now she proudly adds the title of author to her list of accomplishments.
