I began studying the Holy Bible when I became a Christian at the age of twelve. I published poetry and sent letters to the editor, and I began writing songs. As I studied music in college I was intrigued by the anatomy of vocal production and the International Phonetic Alphabet, I discovered I enjoyed writing research papers, and I worked as a math tutor. I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education with minors in music and mathematics.
I married and had a son. With my husband developing the software and managing the team, I wrote a color-assonant reading program based on speech and hearing called Color Phonics. Our son had dysgraphia so we developed a block-letter writing system for him. We continued to publish Christian educational products.
While researching and writing "Awake, Bride" I was intrigued by Daniel's accurate prophecies of the Ptolemaic pharaohs in chapter eleven. As I looked at Egyptian chronology, I felt I could resolve the gaps it creates with other ancient chronologies and the Bible. By God's grace I have resolved the conflicting ancient chronologies by subjecting them all to the Bible's time-line.
