Paolo Chávez Cueto (Lima, 1971) studied Social Psychology and Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Florida Atlantic University. He has published in the collection Poetas y Narradores (Poets and Narrators) (2010) of the Institute of Peruvian Culture based in Miami. Some of his short stories have been included in Relatos Cercanos (Ediciones Cueto, 2021 and 2023). In 2024 he published his first book of short stories Vidas Cruzadas. He has worked as a Spanish teacher at the Berlitz language institute, as well as taught English for several years. He currently lives in Austin, Texas. His literary interest is in the short story genre.
