If you had told Dan Kilday that he would one day write a children's book, he would've told you that you were crazy! He grew up dreaming of hosting SportsCenter on ESPN or interviewing the president on 60 Minutes.

For a number of years, Dan bounced around the United States as an anchor and reporter for local television stations until hanging up his microphone to start a family.

He developed the idea for Molly Warner: School Reporter from his children who love to read. He wanted to write something that would make them laugh while teaching the importance of journalism.
