A long time ago in a galaxy far away - I had dreams of writing a book - and then life got in the way. College at the University of Texas... a multitude of jobs... and the responsibility of family put that on the back burner...until last August. Finally, at age 60, this work was published. Ancestry put a tremendous passion for all things Scots/Irish. I read about the Battle of Culloden several years ago. It's amazing that such a small battle with less than 20,000 combatants so drastically affected the outcome of our current history. Then I had a thought that started as "I wonder what would happen if a few modern weapons were transported back in time to Scotland before the battle?". From there - it ended up being an entire company of Royal Highlanders with all of their modern weapons - and then the mystery of everything that would change globally with that occurrence. Once I began to write - it was like the words just opened up and put themselves on the page.

I live in Giddings, TX with my beautiful wife of 40 years. I still have a full-time job, so getting the time to write is always a struggle - but it has become a passion. Thank you for joining me on my journey on what could have happened. Be blessed!
