Texas Authors Institute of History

A Unique Museum that saves history, inspires the future, depth and gives to the present..

I am a writer, veteran and founder of Keebler Writings. My writing journey began in middle school when poetry became my way of coping the loss of a friend. For years, I thought writing was simply an emotional outlet, until I learned it was part of my inheritance. My father wrote poetry, and my mother, who never once mentioned being a writer, left behind short stories and poems of her own. I didn't discover them until after she passed, tucked away amongst her belongings.  Finding her words was a beautiful surprise and a reminder that storytelling runs deep in my family. Throughout school, teachers encouraged me to write short stories, which my mother saved and returned to me years later. I read them to my own children, who loved them and urged me start publishing. Their belief in me helped transform a private passion into a purpose-driven career.

I am a proud U.S. Army and Texas Army National Guard veteran. I served with dedication and discipline before and while continuing my commitment to public service through state government work. Those experiences shaped my approach to writing to be clear, mission-driven, and grounded in empathy.

Today, I blend my creative and professional expertise to help others bring their stories to life. Through Keebler Writings, I offer services in policy writings, professional and academic editing, manuscript development, project documentation, and quality assurance. Whether I am crafting fiction, supporting other authors/entrepreneurs, or developing high-impact documents, my mission remains the same, to empower others to find their voice and share it with confidence.
