TEXAS-BORN AUTHOR, MUSICIAN AND SENIOR PUBLICIST

VICKI JOHNSON is a Texas-born Author, Songwriter, and Senior Publicist whose multidisciplinary career spans more than three decades across the film, music, and publishing industries. Raised in Texas, Johnson’s creative and professional life has carried her throughout the United States and abroad, while remaining rooted in the cultural traditions of her home state.

She began her career in 1981 as a Public Relations Specialist, building an early portfolio that included political, entertainment, and corporate clients. During the 1980s, Johnson toured nationally with recording artists and public figures while continuing to develop her voice as a songwriter, poet, and speechwriter. Her work behind the scenes led to her affiliation with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), including membership in the IATSE 600 International Camera Guild, where she established herself as a Senior Publicist within the Motion Picture Industry.

Throughout her career, Johnson has maintained long-standing professional relationships, many dating back to the early years of her work; reflecting a reputation for integrity, longevity, and creative consistency. In recent years, she has returned with renewed focus to her original creative work in developing a catalog of mastered songs currently under review for placement, release, and performance. She continues to collaborate with established producers, recording artists, and writers while remaining active in studio recording and event co-production.

Johnson is the author of "Remembrances From The Heart," published through Salem Publishing, a work that reflects her literary voice and personal convictions. Her professional affiliations include IATSE Local 478 (Louisiana), the IATSE 600 International Camera Guild, Who’s Who in America, and Outstanding Young Women of America. Alongside her creative pursuits, she continues to work independently as a Senior Publicist, where she represents regional and national recording artists, as well as other independent talents.

Johnson attributes the endurance of her career and creative calling to her faith in God, which continues to encompass both her personal life and artistic work.
