JoAnn Wagner was born in New York and she relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1986. She recently jumpstarted her retirement and launched her new career as the author of Sir Pigglesworth Adventure Series in August, 2014. Since then, she has written 5 books in her series with a 6th being released soon. Her hobbies include kickboxing, reading, cruising, yoga, and writing.

The "Sir Pigglesworth's Adventure Series" was born when JoAnn's church gave out a flying pig stress ball for the congregation to take around and post pictures on Facebook. Everywhere she went people smiled and laughed and were excited to have their picture taken with Sir Pigglesworth, as she dubbed the pig. The idea blossomed until it became clear that Sir Pigglesworth's adventures needed to be shared with children around the world. JoAnn does book readings at schools, libraries and churches. So far she has hosted two book signings with more to come. She has also spoken to student teacher college students about how to research, outline and write a book.

JoAnn is excited to announce that Sir Pigglesworth is beginning to “spread his wings” – his books are available in local stores in the Dallas area. The Sir Pigglesworth phenomenon is taking off!!
