Author E. Jane Wyatt lives in the rural town of Wimberley, Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with M.S. in Health Education and a M.S. in Guidance and Counseling. Jane has published two books in her Caregiver 10 Minute Guide series, with others under development. For years, Jane worked In hospice care as a counselor and educator. Ultimately, she became the primary caregiver for her mother, who was diagnosed with progressive dementia. Following her mother’s passing in 2020, Jane discovered her legacy was to further knowledge and support for dementia caregivers. The Caregiver 10 Minute Guide focuses on delivering information in a concise manner that can be absorbed quickly and immediately offer solutions to problems. The first book, “Visiting with Love: Productive Activities for Memory and Elder Care Residents” was published in 2021. Her second book, “Communicating with Love: Creating Joyful Conversations with Memory and Elder Care Residents” was published in April 2022. Both books seek to enhance interactions with memory-impaired individuals.
