Sandy was inspired to write while studying the beatnik poets at Indian Valley College in California and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Her novels are historical fiction, to include the Fidelia McCord Series centered in Williamson County, Texas. Her most recent novel is The Dalhart Girls, a tale if mischief in the 1950s Texas Panhandle, and she recently published a collection of her mystical short stories titled Dancing in the Graveyard. She loves researching Texas history, and you can find more about Sandra's books, as well as some of her published poetry, at her website: www.sandrafoxmurphy.com
