Texas Authors Institute of History

A Unique Museum that saves history, inspires the future, depth and gives to the present..

Having recently embarked on a personal journey of living life to the fullest, I have rediscovered my true passion for writing. I currently support my creative ambitions as an Administrative Assistant for a chemical plant. No matter what I’m doing in life; I’d rather be writing.

I have self-published my first book On a Pedestal, a memoir revealing the life of my grandmother, from 1920’s to the 1990’s. Her story is not a typical "walk down memory lane" of innocence, family and a happy ending. It's a "no holds barred, tell it like it is" story. She narrates this honest and emotional journey of her life as she remembered it, lived it and felt it.

I wrote my first poem at the age of eight and have been rhyming ever since. Every day of my life I carve at moments to write poems, essays, magazine articles and quotes. I’m in the process of reviving my handwritten journals and deciding what to reveal in my blog or to inhabit my next novel.
