Texas Authors Institute of History

A Unique Museum that saves history, inspires the future, depth and gives to the present..

Shawn M. Warner is a Texas writer who began his author’s journey at the age of six— he just didn’t know it at the time. Before figuring that out, he had a varied and exciting life. He served as an Infantry Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, was a pediatric therapist, worked as an engineer, has been married 28 years and still going strong, and raised two beautiful children he could spend the entire day bragging about.

Like the life he’s lived, Shawn likes to write adventure stories. He is passionate about bringing people back to reading, especially young people. Reviews of his debut, Amazon’s #1 Best Selling Novel, Leigh Howard and the Ghosts of Simmons-Pierce Manor, saying it has helped people rediscovering reading, or that their children are reading it, or that they are reading the book as a family, are his favorite to hear. His latest book, Homeland Insecurity is due for release June 2024.
