Molly McGarvey completed her first novel, Little Strokes: The Erasure of Austin’s Wheatville Freedom Colony, in 2024. Next up, a takedown of Big Ag followed by the story of an English teacher who couldn’t spell very well. You can find a sampling of her creative non-fiction on Wild Rumpus, @sue81b, her Substack page. Molly only stops writing to walk the dog, cook vegan meals, and snuggle with her man in front of the TV each night before bed. Once a month she travels to Conroe, TX, to bounce on the “tramboline” with her five grandchildren. Molly builds little altars everywhere with treasures gathered on walks with Joey, her 16 year old Shih Tzu. Favorite things include hammocks, wind, trees, and cows. Best activities are swinging, dancing, floating and going to the movies. Passionate about animal rights and the planet. Molly lives on the banks of Walnut Creek in Austin, Texas.
