Daniel Nick is a lifelong educator in the field of special education, diversity, and inclusion. After teaching high school special education, he founded and developed a fully inclusive and adapted martial arts curriculum for students of all abilities and turned the program over to his students in 2024. He is a 53-year-old ADHD cis-het-white male with a passion for Science Fiction and Fantasy, and love to sail with my wife to places that have amazing sunsets.

 

He has been called many things. The ones safe to repeat in public include special education teacher, sailor, martial artist, biker (the kind with loud engines and leather jackets), traveler, rock climber, sculptor, writer, actor, ADHD adult, husband, dog lover, and more that would probably bore you.

 

But when Daniel Nick starts referring to himself in the third person, he prefers to just be called an artist, and maybe a good person.
